A tour that highlights Muslim Spain, where the most beautiful towns of Andalusia are. The three most celebrated cities of muslim Spain are included on our tour (Cordoba, Granada and Seville) and visits to their gems and finest monuments, some of them considered to be World Heritage, among them the Alhambra, the Albaicin (Arab Quarter), Cordoba’s Mosque, the muslim fortification of Ronda (Malaga), the Alcazar Palace, the Giralda of Seville (old Almohad mosque) and Madinat Al Zahra. All this and the charm that is Andalusia today: its happy people, sun, great food and of course, flamenco.
Scheduled itinerary:
Day 1: Málaga – Granada. Welcome and reception in Malaga. Transfer to Granada, the last Muslim kingdom of Al Andalus. Accommodation in the seleced hotel. Brief presentation of the Tour. Dinner.
Day 2: Granada. Breakfast. Visit to the Alhambra, the Alcazaba, the three Nazari Palaces, the Generalife and gardens. Lunch: free time or organized by Nur & Duha on request. Walk through the Albaicin. Free time. Dinner.
Day 3: Granada – Cordoba. Breakfast then departure to the city of Cordoba. On route, a visit to the beautiful city of Medina Azahara palace, which can be considered the first parliament of Europe. Stop at the nearby town of Almodovar del Rio and panoramic view of its iconic castle. Lunch in Almodóvar. After lunch, we continue our way to Córdoba. Check into a 4 or 5 star hotel. Free time to visit the historic center (the Mosque, city walls, Torre de la Calahorra, the Roman bridge and the Arab quarter of the old medina and its lively shops). Dinner: free time or organized by Nur & Duha by request.
Day 4: Cordoba – Sevilla. Breakfast. Trip to Seville, the city of orange blossom and the capital of Andalusia. There, a visit to the Alcazar and the symbolic Giralda, former Almohad minaret. Check into a 4 or 5 star hotel. Lunch: Free time or organized by Nur & Duha on request. Free time to discover the charm of the historic center, the banks of the Guadalquivir River, the Torre de Oro, the picturesque neighborhood of Triana, the beautiful Plaza de Espana… Dinner.
Day 5: Sevilla – Ronda – Malaga. Breakfast and free time to take leave of the beautiful Giralda. Trip to Ronda, beautiful fortified town. Lunch: free time or organized by Nur & Duha on request. Free time to stroll through the charming streets of Ronda. Continue trip to Malaga. Check into a 4 or 5 star hotel. Free time. Farewell dinner.
Day 6: Malaga. Breakfast. Transfer to the airport and end of trip.
